Follow these steps to set up your McAfee account, activate your software, and verify your subscription:
Step 1: Set up your McAfee account and activate your software
Open the McAfee software that came preinstalled on your PC and access your account to view your subscription. To learn how to access your account, click one of the following options:
At the McAfee website, type your email address, and then click Next.
If you already have an account, log in as usual.
If you do not have an account, create a strong password and click Next.

When you are logged into your account, follow any prompts to complete activation of your McAfee software.

When activation is complete, use the Verify Subscription feature to sync your installed McAfee software with your new account:
