The problem may occur due to several reasons like missing an important update, using an outdated Windows version, or trying to print over an out-of-date printer driver version. You can eliminate issue by trying a few simple fixes. First of all, you must update your Windows to the latest version. For that click, the Start icon, search for Update, and then click the Check for updates option on the list. If any update is available then Windows will start to install them automatically. Another fix would be reinstalling the printer driver. Open the Run dialogue box, type devmgmt.MSC and click Ok. Now you will need to right-click on your printer and then select uninstall the device. Click on Uninstall to confirm the selection.
